Our CEO Ash Warne started the business in 2017 after leading the simulator programmes at McLaren and Ferrari F1 teams. We have since grown to a team of over 40 engineers, delivering turnkey driving simulators to customers including Ferrari F1 Team as well as a number of other marquee brands.
About the team
We are a team of engineers experienced both in the design and manufacture of driving simulators, as well as their use in vehicle development. We develop, deliver and support outstanding, ground-breaking simulators and motion generators that support the engineering that leads to winning performance on the track.
About the role
We are looking to fill a Simulator Engineering role covering the following:
- Integration of third-party software and hardware into our systems (e.g. vehicle simulation, graphics rendering)
- Development of in-house software tools for simulator operation and analysis
- Development of motion cueing algorithms
- Investigating new technologies for use on our simulators
- Definition, testing, and commissioning of customer systems
- Providing technical support and training to our customers
- Development of demo scenarios to show the full potential of our systems
What we’re looking for
- A background in fields such as Engineering, Physics, Maths or Computer Science
- Determination, independence and a methodical approach to problem solving
- Ability to discuss and communicate technical concepts. This is a collaborative environment and we rely on one another to test our theories, contribute their own and share what they learn
- Experience in MATLAB/Simulink and/or languages such as C++, C#
- Experience in driving simulators and/or vehicle dynamics preferred
- Some experience with electronics is useful but not essential
What you can expect
- Hands on experience, running both simulations and their real world equivalents
- A technical grounding. You will spend most of your time working with tools such a MATLAB, Simulink and Dymola
- An education in Vehicle Dynamics, Modelling and Performance Engineering
- Involvement from the start and exposure to the whole company. As a Simulation Engineer, we want to give you a good overview of the complete system
